Historical Society & Museum
A prerequisite for any item to be accessioned into the Museum's collect is a relationship of some kind to either a resident or a location within Fulton County.
Items that will not be accepted are but not limited to: Newspapers, magazines, certain Leather Industry items, such as dies, glove shapers. Also: records, typewriters, large furniture pieces.
The donor should also be aware that items that are donated to the Museum, may not be displayed. Depending on the item, they may be placed in the archives, to be displayed at a later date. They may also be loaned to other historical organizations.
In some cases, if there is a lack of historical prominence, the Museum reserves the right to sell such items. Monies realized from such sales will go directly to support the Museum.
Once accepted by the Museum, all artifacts become property of the Fulton Historical Society.

Delivery in person can be made during regular Museum business hours. Please contact us prior to delivery, to make sure someone will be there to receive it.
